Leather Pants (Part I)

Leather pants have been one of my favorite statement pieces this fall and winter, and I’m not ready to stop wearing them yet! If at all possible I would rock these all year long, but I definitely would have some sort of heat stroke. I guess I’ll just have to settle for wearing them as much as I can before the truly warm weather comes. Here, I wanted to showcase two totally different looks of how I often wear my leather pants. If you’re having some difficulty creating an outfit around leather pants (trust me, I did when I first bought them!), just take a look at these two outfits (Part II here!) and hopefully, it’ll spark some inspiration.

With this look, I went for the sporty vibe. I wanted to create a look that you could easily wear during the day. Often times, I find myself only dressing up my leather pants to wear out at night (like in Part II), but it’s just as easy to dress them down. I added an mesh tee and a flannel to really up the edginess factor. I love this casual look!
Of course, let’s talk about the shoes. I’ve been searching for the perfect white sneakers for a while now, and I finally found some that I love. These Steve Madden ones have the bit of platform that I was looking for and the fact that they are pristine white with no other designs sold me on them. For me, I wanted the guarantee that they would match everything in my closet without worry. I love that they’re a little boxy, throwing it back to the 90s. Granted, they aren’t completely Spice Girl shoes, but it’s a step in the right direction. I’m thinking platform sandals next lol. – L
