Mustard

Starting off this week with a bang (literally)! For the New Year, I decided to try a shaggy haircut with bangs. Words cannot express how much I love this cut! It’s amazing because it’s so versatile. Not only can it be a “cool girl” cut when worn down and messy (like I did here), but when I put it in a pony, the bangs give off a professional feel. The cut is perfect for me because it combines my two favorite styles: rocker and chic. Shout out to Alyssa Noelle for yet another perfect cut!

Thank goodness the rain has ceased here in SoCal. For a second I thought I was back in Alabama! Although the rain was much needed, I’m glad to hang up my raincoat for a while and actually go outside and take some pictures! Now, you might recognize this mustard dress from a recent Friday Find. I love its classy take on the t-shirt dress. Instead of being borderline potato sack, like most t-shirt dresses, the tie waist really accentuates your figure. This piece has become one of my go-to casual looks because not only is it comfy and easy to throw on, but it also makes me feel the perfect amount of feminine. Let’s not forget to mention my new baby (talking about the Kate Spade bag of course). My sisters and I went a little wild at the Kate Spade outlet store over christmas break. I nabbed this beaut and penguin bag known as Wallace (shown in Laced). This bag has become my new favorite because it’s big enough to fit all the essentials. Although, I may be a borderline hoarder with all the things that I carry around, but you never know when you need a polaroid picture or have a chance to read a few pages in your book! -L
