I’ll Be There For You (Rachel Green Inspired Style)

The 90s are back and in full swing. When I think about the 90s, my mind goes straight to the popular TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It’s one of my favorites. I’ve probably seen each episode an upwards of 5 times. One of the many, many reasons I’m obsessed with it is because of the style. It used to be considered totally crazy to wear similar outfits, but now everything is making its way back around. I always loved the wardrobe of Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel Green. Fashion was her life and her job, after she stopped working at the coffee shop of course, and I really drew similarities to her. I’m always on the hunt for a great addition to my wardrobe, just like she was.

I felt very Rachel Green in this outfit. She knew how to dress classic and young. Rachel loved her denim. From the denim vest she threw over everything to the various overalls she knew how to rock, she seemed to always find a different way to wear denim. From my intensive research (having a F.R.I.E.N.D.S. marathon), the pinafore was an outfit that stood out to me. She wore it every once in a while, and I loved how she styled it. She didn’t try to dress it up too much or go crazy with the color scheme. She stayed on the calm side of things which I sometimes have trouble with! It’s something I didn’t think I could pull off at first, but now I’m wearing it all the time. It’s cutesy, casual, and such a versatile piece. – L
