Edgy Glam

Fall is finally in the air! Okay, maybe just in the mornings in San Diego, but still excited. Bring on the pumpkin patch photos, the comfort food, and my personal favorite beanies. Hats are an underrated accessory in my opinion. For someone who happens to be running late more often then not, hats are on a regular rotation in my closet. You don’t need to worry about taking an extra 15 minutes to do your hair because the beanie has got you covered. Anyways, you need that 15 minutes to piece together the perfect outfit.

One of my favorite things to do when styling an outfit is to mix edginess with feminine pieces. I love the way it gives a certain balance to an outfit. If you’ve picked up something rather edgy, let’s say leather pants, and you don’t know if you want to commit completely to the edgy leather look, then pair it with something more feminine. I paired mine with a sparkly sweater. It gave the pants a more glamorous feeling. – L
