The Feminine Menswear (Cara Delevingne Inspired Style)

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

Cara Delevingne has one of my favorite styles. She plays with the elements of menswear and makes them feminine. She’s known to wear just a blazer out or a pantsuit with sneakers. She puts a refreshing spin on the classics, and that’s what I tried to achieve here. Channeling my inner Cara, I decided to pair my green trousers with an out of the box structured jacket (more about it below!) and my backpack. I felt like a total rockstar in this look.

I mean… This jacket is a thing in itself. I’m so in love! Thrifting is aways interesting because you never know what you’re going to find (hello, this gem!). At first sight of the jacket, I thought it was just hilarious, but once I put it on, it fit like a glove. I knew I had to get it. The tassel on the zipper, detailed sequins, and the sharp shoulders make it a one of a kind find. I recommend to anyone who is on a budget to try going thrift store shopping! Gather up a few pals and make a fun day of it. – L
