Leather and Suede

Although living in San Diego comes with it’s amazing perks (hello, the beach!), it also comes with it’s downfalls. One of them being the lack of seasons (but who are we kidding, that’s more of a perk than a downfall). Dressing for this particular area means wearing loads of jackets. In the mornings you’d freeze without them, but by lunch time you’re stripping off as many layers as possible.

I believe a leather jacket is an essential piece for any woman’s closet. It’s a piece that can totally change the vibe of any outfit. I opted for a moto style leather jacket with extra zippers to bring maximum edginess to any outfit. I find myself throwing it over everything.

And how cute is this suede romper? I snagged this one at a southern based boutique while home (similar below). Suede seems to be popping up in every store and in every style. Who thought of making a romper out of suede? But, I’m glad they did! It’s adorable and an easy item to dress up or down. I’d say, suede is a trend that’ll be around for a while. Feel free to indulge in everything suede. I know I have! -L
